London’s design-rich quarter is transforming into a lively exhibition of creativity with the return of Clerkenwell Design Week. The festival honors workmanship, materials, and innovative design with more than 600 activities spread throughout ancient streets and contemporary showrooms.
As part of our celebration of superior design, we’re showcasing four of our best Structure Tone projects with exceptional aesthetics.
Confidential fintech client, City of London: Precision meets presence
Architect: Gensler
Our private fintech client’s London headquarters are located in the sleek and modernized 60 London Wall, which is located in the financial center of the city.
The fit out, which took place over three higher floors and progressed from shell & core to CAT B, created an atmosphere that is as innovative and dynamic as its users. The goal was obvious from the beginning: establish a modern, cooperative workplace with a distinct identity, a purpose, and the sophistication of a five-star hotel.
The combination of raw concrete floors, acoustic treatments, and extensive exposed MEP systems produced a mix between acoustic comfort and industrial edge. High-end AV systems and Smartglass technology improved the boardrooms and meeting spaces, and the use of sophisticated materials, such as metals and textured textiles, along with personalized wall graphics produced a striking visual identity.
To illuminate the area, the design team carefully selected and positioned more than 2,500 LED light fixtures. Accredited by Fitwel and BREEAM, the project demonstrates that sustainability and high design can and should coexist.
DV Trading, City of London: Elevated functionality with a view

Situated in the iconic 20 Fenchurch Street, DV Trading’s London headquarters is a refined fusion of performance and design.
CAT transformed its 14,000-square-foot A Room into a resilient, dynamic workspace. The design mirrors the fast-paced energy of the trading floor. It was crucial to preserve and improve the current MEP systems in order to maintain operational stability and provide flexibility for changing customer demands.
A modern reception sets the tone. It flows naturally into breakout areas, an open pantry, and meeting rooms that showcase some of London’s best vistas. From custom joinery to cemento wall finishes, high-end materials enhance the area, while features like an on-floor gym and opulent showers demonstrate a strong emphasis on staff well-being.
Completed within a tight programme, DV Trading’s workspace supports both peak performance and daily comfort.
Maslow’s, Soho: More than a space – a lifestyle destination

Tucked away in the vibrant center of Soho, the Members’ Club Fit Out is a story of transformation, ambition, and enhanced experience. Structure Tone led the effort to bring this concept to life. The result is a space that blends labor, hospitality, and leisure into one cohesive environment.
The design brief was clear: create a destination that supports modern professionals not only during office hours but throughout the day and night. The team delivered by planning bold structural changes. These included demolishing and rebuilding the building’s central section and adding a stairwell that wraps gracefully around a dual-lift core.
Below ground, a new 1MV substation and fully equipped kitchens meet the building’s energy and hospitality demands—without compromising on style. Meanwhile, the rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of Soho’s skyline, providing an inspirational backdrop for the city’s changemakers.
In addition to a reception area that connects easily to the adaptable conference rooms and offices above, the ground floor greets visitors with not one, but two dining areas.
The outcome? a structure that resembles a carefully planned lifestyle environment more than a typical office building.
Westfield Speciality, 22 Bishopsgate: A sky-high statement of elegance
Architect: Generation Edge
From a blank CAT A canvas to a sophisticated, client-ready CAT B space, Westfield Speciality’s prominent new home skillfully combines form and function at level 36 of 22 Bishopsgate.
The upscale facilities in this EDGE-designed space are commensurate with the address’s reputation. In order to realize this vision within a very controlled timeframe, it was necessary to use complex logistics and careful sequencing, especially for the specialty joinery and glazing installations.
The end product is a chic setting with a 24-person boardroom, a stylish brokers’ lounge, a beautiful reception, and front-of-house conference rooms that facilitate easy hosting and teamwork.
This high-rise office environment carefully balances moments of casual luxury with business slickness. For casual get-togethers, a central hub serves as a social anchor, all while offering expansive views of the London skyline. Even the restrooms reflect experience-led design, earning the playful moniker “loo with a view.”
The finished space is a confident reflection of Westfield’s global identity – elevated, efficient, and built to impress.
